∞ Two Door Cinema Club ≈

“To the basement people, to the basement!” came the rallying cry from Two Door Cinema Club’s breakout single “Undercover Martyn”. “Many surprises await you.” And surprised we were. These Irish lads were everywhere in 2010/11 with their huge album Tourist History going hand in hand with slice after slice of singular pop perfection. The aforementioned hit teamed up with the likes of “What You Know” and “I Can Talk” to put the trio on our map big time. The thing about the great bands though, is that they can work quickly and Two Door Cinema Club have done just that in pumping out their second record Beacon (to be released in September). Whispers are that it’s a work poised to send these lads to the absolute top of the heap. By the time this summer rolls around, we’ll know every word. Count on it. To the basement, to the dance floor, to the main stage. It doesn’t matter. You’ve just got to get there.
