One of the more charming bands to emerge in recent years, Brisbane natives The Jungle Giants deal in a line of summery pop rock that, if done well, has a knack of transcending all cynicism and bad feeling. Maybe it’s the fact that they’ve grown up in such sunny climates, running around the green fields and blue skies of Brisvegas without a care in the world? Or maybe it’s their average age of about 19 years old that’s stopping them from feeling the weight of the world? Whatever it is, it works. It’s catchy, infectious and downright brilliant. You’ll know their singles “Mr Polite” and “She’s A Riot” and have probably seen them on tour with the likes of Boy and Bear and San Cisco lately – so get ready to lose your inhibitions again with The Jungle Giants.
